Information about post-graduate programs for doctors in Uzhhorod National University
We provide education for people, who have a high-school education and a medical diploma. Their education must be equivalent to the master’s degree in medicine in Ukraine. The equivalence of their education is inspected by the university and must be confirmed by a nostrification procedure.
All basic PG Courses are conducted in English and Ukrainian. A2-B1 Ukrainian language skills are necessary for patient communication in the clinic. We provide free Ukrainian language courses in the University for the first 6 months. The duration of the course is 2 years for the non-surgical courses and for the surgical course the duration of the course is 3 years. We can extend the duration of the education up to 4 years.

We also provide short PG courses (1 week to 9 months in length) and Masterclasses (1-3 days) on relevant topics in:

Admission to all PG courses is available from the 1st of September till 30th of June.
The University has a Master’s course in Public Health. Admission is held two times a year (winter and summer semester).
Tuition fees (in 2021/2022 academic year):
Basic PG courses – 3700 USD per year
Short PG courses – 100 USD per week (for courses up to 3 weeks), 400 USD per months (for courses from 1 month)
Masterclasses and Workshops – individual (from 50 USD)
PhD – 4200 USD per year
