Assembly of the University Staff Conference took place at Uzhhorod National University
On Tuesday, January 18, 2022, an assembly of the University Staff Conference took place in the large conference hall of Uzhhorod National University rectorate. The key issues were the report of the Rector of UzhNU Volodymyr Smolanka on the work done in 2021 and the changes in the composition of the Conference delegates.
At the beginning of the event, the Rector presented the awards and distinctions to several employees and teachers of the university. Opening the University Staff Conference, Volodymyr Smolanka noted: "Traditionally, in early January we get together to summarize our achievements in the previous year in the field of education, research and international activity, as well as to outline the development of Uzhhorod National University in the new year."
While reporting, the Rector touched upon some important issues of the university development in 2021, particulary the university's positions in the global, regional and national rankings, international cooperation, admission campaign 2021, academic and research activities of the university, student leisure and goals for 2022.
