13th among Ukrainian universities: UzhNU has improved its position in the Webometrics ranking
According to the updated Webometrics Ranking of World's Universities in July 2021, UzhNU has improved its position compared to January 2021. The university has risen by one position and now ranks 13th among Ukrainian universities. It is also important to note that Uzhhorod National University got to top 3000 universities in the world ranking for the first time occupying the 2981th position.
In recent years, Uzhhorod National University has significantly improved its standing in the prestigeous Webometrics world ranking. For comparison: in July 2014, Uzhhorod National University was in the 127th position, and in the summer of 2017 it was already the 24th.
Webometrics Ranking of World's Universities is one of the most prestigeous rankings of the world's universities, which analyzes the degree of representation of universities in the World Wide Web.The ranking has been compiled since 2004 and is published twice a year (in June-July and January).
