Name of the project: “Support of higher education system in a context of climate change mitigation through regional-level of carbon footprint caused by a product, building and organization”

International project of European Union in frame of Erasmus+ program agreement № 2021-1-SK01-KA220-HED-000023274, Key Action 2 – Cooperation partnership signed between Coordinator (Technical University of Koshice) and SAAIC (Slovak Academic Association for International Cooperation).

 

Project implementation period: 36 months, from 01.11.2021 to 31.10.2024

Project goals: to increase quality of education on climate change struggle in universities of Eastern, Central and Western Europe. Supposed founding of the educational course Hi-EduCarbon, aimed for: 

 

  • Measuring of greenhouse gas emissions and absorption on production level – building materials and services.
  • Measuring of greenhouse gas emissions and absorption on production level – buildings and structures.
  • Measuring of greenhouse gas emissions and absorption on organization, city district and city-level.

Grant amount provided for SU ‘UzhNU’ according to contract, estimated 34 795,00 EUR
