PSRLCE has scientific research departments, which comprise teams of researchers working on state-budget, contract, and grant projects, as well as scientific and pedagogical staff from the Institute of Chemistry and Ecology (IC&E) departments. Collaboration between PSRLCE and other scientific institutions in Ukraine and international research institutions is based on relevant agreements. The highest governing body of PSRLCE is the Scientific and Technical Council (STC) at PSRLCE, the composition of which is approved annually. The STC of PSRLCE includes: the director of PSRLCE (as the chair of the STC), the scientific secretary (as the secretary of the STC), heads of scientific directions, and scientific supervisors of state-budget, contract, and grant projects.
